Work note: A five-minute version of this work was performed on 12 July 1995 at St John's, Smith Square, London, commissioned by London Musici part of their 'Music, Song and Dance' concerts. Rambert Dance Company subsequently commissioned Didy Veldman to create a longer version of the work.
