Past eventRambert Live 2019
Rambert Live is a day-in-the-life of Britain’s national dance company, streamed live from our London studios on Friday 5 April.
This is a chance to see behind the scenes of our two ensembles of world-class dancers, meet our new Artistic Director Benoit Swan Pouffer, catch a sneak peak of brand new work in the making and be a “fly on the wall” during company rehearsals ahead of our UK and international tours.
In the evening step into the Playground, our free open studio event where artists from all backgrounds come together to use dance to explore, create, collaborate and play. Watch original dance being created live as three choreographers are each given a group of dancers and studio time to work through themes and ideas, with a “sharing” of their work at the end of the evening.
The day-long stream will be available to watch on Facebook and this webpage. We are delighted this year to be a part of BBC #DancePassion, who will be featuring sections of Rambert Live on their own stream of dance around the UK.
