Nandita Shankardass

Contemporary/Improvisation
Nandita’s approach is inspired by both eastern and western movement practices to empower connections and pathways within the body and find alignment and functionality to generate a healthy energy flow for embodied moving. Classes will highlight impulse, flow and rhythm invigorated by the energies and dynamics of the natural elements Fire, Water, Earth, Air and Space. Improvisation days will offer space to follow one’s own intuitive guidance, welcome the opportunity to find your own groove and a chance to quench your creativity and develop autonomy in directing your movement. Classes will be accompanied and inspired by various musicians throughout the week, each bringing their own individual styles and creativity into the space!

*Classes will alternate between Contemporary technique and Improvisation during the week.
