Caribbean modern dance: Beginners
We’re buzzing about classes being back in the Rambert building, so come and try something new. In this Caribbean modern class, you’ll be trying out some traditional Caribbean dances, learning some new moves and how to play, create, and choreograph with those moves in a variety of ways.
You’ll utilize a combination of modern dance techniques across the Caribbean. Paradigmz will take your spine on a journey and your feet will be forever flexing. Bare feet is best for this class.

Performance Artist, Poet, Teacher and Choreographer, Paradigmz has worked with a diverse array of choreographers across contemporary and classical African Peoples Dance, as well Jazz and Hip Hop and Modern Dance Forms. It includes artists and companies like Sakoba Dance Theatre, Jackie Guy, (Norman Rubber) Stephenson, Bullies Ballerinas, Irven Lewis, Kwesi Johnson, Stuart Thomas, Benji Reid Jonzi D, and Lloyd Newson (DV8 Physical Theatre).
Term runs from Monday 27 September to Saturday 11 December.
