Rambert Orchestra CD released
NMC Records have released a new CD of music by English composer Mark-Anthony Turnage. The disc features Crying Out Loud, a score used in Ashley Page’s 2013 ballet Subterrain; No Let Up, a Stravinsky-influenced piece written in Chicago; and also Undance, a dance score commissioned by Sadler’s Wells for Wayne McGregor.
Rambert Orchestra is conducted by Paul Hoskins.
Undance is played by the Undance Band, conducted by Tim Murray.
This release follows a 2012 collaboration between NMC and Rambert, a recording available on download of Gavin Higgins’ What Wild Ecstasy for New Music 2012.
