Career highlights: Whilst at Peter Schaufuss Ballet, Simone performed the lead role of Peter Pan in Michael I’m Bad. At Theater Ulm she danced the lead in Cinderella, Tybalta in Romeo and Juliet, and the ‘Sacrificial Dance’ in Le Sacre du Printemps. Since joining Rambert, Simone has particularly enjoyed working with Kim Brandstrup to create her lead role in Transfigured Night, with Didy Veldman on The 3 Dancers and with Christopher Bruce on Ghost Dances.
Other info: Simone has choreographed for the young choreographers platform at Theater Ulm, for the musical Hair and the play Bernada Alba’s House. She has created works for Rambert’s new choreography platforms including RIFT (2014), Bravery (2015) and Tempus (2016), presenting these at The National Theatre’s River Stage, Wilderness Festival, Resolution at The Place and Draft Works at The Royal Opera House.
