Sign Language-interpreted performances

Sign Language interpreted performances are now firmly established as an integral part of every Rambert tour to help make the music accessible to all.

At most venues, our interpreter Angie Newman will be positioned stage left (on the right-hand side of the auditorium).

Angie interprets the music accompanying the dances. This includes the pitch of the instruments, tempo and melody. When a song has lyrics, such as the Rolling Stones tracks in Rooster, these will also be signed.

If you have any access needs, please contact the venue Box Office directly. The venue will also be able to recommend specific seating areas at interpreted performances with the best sight-lines for viewing both the interpreter and the dancers on stage.
