The Arts Theatre Ballet Archive
The Arts Theatre Ballet was established under Artistic Director Keith Lester at the Arts Theatre, London, by Harold Rubin. The Arts Theatre Ballet was one of the three professional ballet companies controlled by Rubin at the Arts 1939-41.

The London Ballet Archive
The London Ballet was the Company established by Antony Tudor in 1938 to perform at Toynbee Hall, East London. After Tudor moved to the USA, it was run by Maude Lloyd and Peggy van Praagh at the Arts Theatre under Harold Rubin's management. It was amalgamated with Ballet Rambert in 1940.

The Marie Rambert Archive
Dame Marie Rambert, DBE (1888 - 1982) was the Founding Director of Rambert Dance Company.

The Richard Alston Archive
Richard Alston (1949 - ) was Resident Choreographer for Rambert 1980 - 1986 and Artistic Director 1986 - 1992.

The Roland Bond Photographic Collection (Rambert)
Roland Bond photographed the Company in the late 1960s at photocalls mostly at the Jeannetta Cochrane Theatre.

The Charles Boyd Collection
Charles Boyd (1917 - 2002) was an Australian dancer who travelled to England in 1937 and the following year joined the Ballet Club.

The Harry Cordwell Archive
Harry Cordwell (1922 - 1995) was a dancer and designer with Ballet Rambert and later an acclaimed set decorator in the film industry.

The Norman Dixon Collection
Norman Dixon (1926 - ) trained with the Sadler's Well Ballet School and Ballet Rambert School, and danced with Ballet Rambert 1949 - 1959.

The Ashley Dukes Collection
Ashley Dukes (1886 -1959) was a playwright, translator, dramatic critic and promoter of European drama. He married Marie Rambert in 1918.

The Malcolm Dunbar Photographic Collection
Malcolm Dunbar photographed the Ballet Club in the mid-1930s before disappearing in mysterious circumstances.

The Walter Gore-Paula Hinton Archive
Walter Gore (1910 - 1979) came from a theatrical family and was a child actor before training as a dancer. Paula Hinton (1924 - 1996) danced with Ballet Rambert 1944-1950 and returned to guest with the company in 1961 and 1965.

The Diana Gould Performance Archive
Diana Gould was one of Marie Rambert's earliest pupils and danced with the Marie Rambert Dancers at the Lyric Hammersmith and at the Ballet Club.

The Joyce Graeme Collection
Joyce Graeme (1918-1991) was a tall, dramatic dancer who also excelled at comedy, who performed with Ballet Rambert 1945 - 1949, including on the tour to Australia and New Zealand, and again in the 1950s.

The Andrée Howard Archive
Andrée Howard (1910 -1968) was a dancer, designer and choreographer with Rambert.

The Thérèse Langfield Donation
Thérèse Langfield (1919 - ) trained at the Rambert School and danced with Ballet Rambert, on many of Antony Tudor's projects including London Ballet and was an important member of the Player's Theatre.

The Susette Morfield Archive
Susette Morfield (1914 - 2002) danced with the Marie Rambert Dancers and at the Ballet Club 1930 - 1940.

The Marjorie Reed Collection
Marjorie Reed (1921 - 1998) trained at the Royal College of Music and was pianist with Ballet Rambert from 1943 -1944 and from 1945 - 1950.

Leonard Salzedo Music Archive
Leonard Salzedo (1921 - 2000) trained at the Royal College of Music. He was commissioned to write his first score for a ballet, The Fugitive, in 1944 after Marie Rambert had heard his Second String Quartet at a concert.

The Hugh Stevenson Design Collection
Hugh Stevenson (1910 - 1956) - together with Sophie Fedorovitch and William Chappell - was one of the first designers to work regularly for Rambert.

Jean Stewart Archive
Jean Stewart is a photographer and great supporter of the ballet in Melbourne, Australia, where she also worked as a stage manager.

The Wilsher Collection of exhibition prints
R Wilsher, a photographer based in Chesterfield, photographed Ballet Rambert during its years as a touring classical company following the Company's return from Australia.

The Reg Wilson Collection
In 2005 Rambert Dance Company Archive purchased Reg Wilson's photographs of Ballet Rambert/Rambert Dance Company taken between 1961 and 1991 complete with the copyright in the photographs.

The Ronald Wilson CollectionProgramme Bradford September 1941
Ronald Wilson began designing professionally in 1944 with a new setting for the Ballet Rambert production of Les Sylphides and worked closely with the Company in the years before their first Australian tour.

The Walter Stringer Photographs (Rambert)
Walter Stringer (1907 - 2001) photographed most dance companies that performed in Melbourne including Ballet Rambert on its 1947- 1949 tour.
