An opportunity to join Quicksilver: Rambert's youth dance company
Quicksilver, Rambert's youth company, is looking to recruit dancers between the ages of 15-24 to join them from September. With a focus on new contemporary works as well as learning Rambert repertoire, this is a challenging and exciting opportunity for anyone wishing to work in a professional environment, develop their existing contemporary dance technique, be creative and have the opportunity to perform. Previous performances have included the opening of the Eurostar terminal at St Pancras International Station, various dance platforms at the Lilian Baylis Theatre, Sadler's Wells as well as performances for Richdance festival and Big Dance 2010.
Quicksilver meet once a week on a Thursday from 6.30-8pm at Rambert's studios in Chiswick and more frequently leading up to performances. Classes are led by Rambert Animateur Laura Harvey. Members pay a £90 fee for the twelve-week term; this can be paid in monthly instalments.
