Rambert Dance Company - Street Genius

Street Genius

Rambert Dance Company's Street Genius programme is now well underway. We are delighted to have recruited five individuals to work together as a creative team towards a unique event involving Rambert's Youth Company, Quicksilver. Since September 2011, the group has been working at Rambert's offices, gaining an insight into how a professional dance company operates and learning how to manage large-scale events.

Meet Rambert's Street Geniuses:

Liz Settimba - ProducerLiz (c) Farrah Riley Gray, 2011

Liz graduated from Brunel University having studied Drama, Film and Television Studies. Liz has previously produced works in both theatre and film; including a short film titled Dreamz, funded by Mediabox's scheme www! (What we Want) in 2008 with Tower Hamlets Summer University, now known as Futureversity. Liz then produced a theatre showcase at the Unicorn Theatre called Youth in Celebration, after winning in Ideas Tap's Innovation Fund in 2010.

Liz is very excited to be the Producer for Rambert's Dance Company's Street Genius project as the event combines both contemporary dance and music, both of which she loves. Organising something involving such large companies (Rambert and the London Philharmonic Orchestra) to be held at the Southbank Centre will be a new and inspirational experience.Anny (c) Farrah Riley Gray, 2011
