Sonia Illescas 
Born in Ibiza, Sonia was educated in her home country of Spain in Ballet and Contemporary dance working there as a teacher, choreographer, and performer for many years. She came to London to complete a postgraduate at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, and since then has been delivering workshops on a national scale and teaching on a variety of projects for various companies and organisations such us: The Royal Opera House, Sadler's Wells and London Youth Dance. She also works for Green Candle Dance Company as the Education Manager.
Sonia has been working for Rambert Dance Company since 2007 teaching the Company's repertoire to different groups, from primary schools to GCSE and A level students as well as leading some of the evening classes at Rambert's studios; from youth groups to the contemporary advanced level. Sonia enjoys getting the best out of her students and sharing her passion for dance.
