Lucy Field
Lucy is a London-based dance portfolio professional, specialising in dance management and training with a passion for coaching and developing talent. Over the last nine years has developed world-class dance projects as Artist in Residence at DanceXchange (2004 - 2005) and most notably, developing the Centre of Advanced Training (CAT) at The Place as Programme Manager (2005 - 2011).
Lucy has taught over 19,000 people of all ages and backgrounds in the UK and has choreographed many youth dance works. She has commissioned pieces on students from a wide range of arts organisations and artists including Richard Alston Dance Company, Wayne McGregor I Random Dance, CandoCo Dance Company, Jasmin Vardimon Company, Protein Dance and Yorke Dance Project. Students have performed at Sadler's Wells, The Royal Festival Hall and The Robin Howard Dance Theatre, The Place with many going on to professional dance careers.
Her portfolio also includes presenting. She has given seminars and talks on career management, was compere for The Place Prize Final 2011 and is co-producer/presenter of Britain's only online dance TV show, Inside Dance.
Lucy joined Rambert Dance Company in Autumn 2011.
