Rambert Live is a day-in-the-life of Britain’s national dance company, streamed live from a studio in our London home on Thursday 9 November 2017.

12 – 12.30pm | Company rehearsal: Symbiosis: led by senior rehearsal director Mikaela Polley

12.30 – 1pm | Company rehearsal: Goat: led by rehearsal director Angela Towler

1 – 2pm | Company rehearsal: Life is a Dream, a new work by Kim Brandstrup which premieres at Sadler’s Wells, London, on 23 May 2018 and will tour to Bergen International Festival, Norway in June

2.20 – 4.10pm | Full screening of The Creation recorded at Sadler’s Wells Theatre, London in November 2016

4.30 – 6pm | Rambert in conversation: What is the future for dance in schools? On the panel: Sandra Allan (Head of Curriculum – Creative Arts, AQA), James Cousins (Artistic Director, James Cousins Company), Ray Oudkerk (Assistant Principal of Performing Arts, The Brit School), Arlene Phillips (choreographer and BACC for the Future campaigner) and Claire Somerville (Head of Children & Young People’s Dance, One Dance UK)

6.30 – 7.30pm | Class demonstration with senior rehearsal director Mikaela Polley

7.30 – 8.30pm | Platform performances – extracts from choreography by Rambert dancers Simone Damberg Würtz and Liam Francis
