We are finally back from touring and I am currently surrounded by a sea of unglamorous dirty costumes from the past four weeks. This is currently my priority if only to make wardrobe smell a little more heavenly! I estimate that there are at least 15 loads ahead plus a rails worth to go to the dry cleaners.

I have been at Rambert for ten weeks now and I have to say it's been like diving into the deep end of a swimming pool, which for me is a bit scary as I have had a bad experience with a certain pool which shall remain nameless!

When I was at school I used to watch videos of Christopher Bruce's work all the time. One of my favourites was Ghost Dances. I always wanted to dance one of his works but I thought it would never happen. But here I am, dancing the part of the youngest daughter in Hush with Rambert. I still can't believe it; it is such a privilege!

In between rehearsals for Hush with the Rambert dancers I'm pondering over the crop rotation in my garden, and what to do with some felled trees I must deal with. Louise Lester, Houston Ballet, is here today and doing such a wonderful job I am momentarily redundant.
