i was entranced and in tears during the Litany part of Eternal Light. The show is well-balanced with pieces to move, provoke thought and entertain. Combinations of song, sound and movement made all my senses tingle. "See me" was enhanced by the fluidity of the costumes. It is relatively rare that Malvern snd its environs host performances of this quality.

I was so excited to see Rambert Dance Company again, I remembered Swansong from when it was new and still feel it is brilliant. It was great having live music and song but for me having them at the back of the stage was distracting, dancers and musicians were competing visually with each other and I therefore felt cheated and felt I was unable to really appreciate the dances which had live music as much as I would have liked to.

The performance of Swansong I saw on Thursday evening moved me to tears. It was superbly danced by Eryck Brahmania (what a star!), Miguel Altunaga and Renaud Wiser, who switched between menace and complicite so well. I\'ve long been a fan of Christopher Bruce\'s choreography, and this ballet just blew me away. The music was good, but unlike Allyson,(above) I didn\'t find the orchestra distracting, I only had etes for the dancers. Thank you for a great evening of dance, Ballet Rambert, and especially for Swansong. Come back to Malvern soon
