188# Eternal Light Tour

Hello,
You have asked us for a review:-
We saw this at the Wycombe Swan a week ago and overall it was disappointing. The first act was tired and old-fashioned. I found the flares particularly irritating.
The second act was more promising with the smart outfits and adventurous acrobatics but the third section, again, was depressing and old hat with the theme of holocaust, doom etc. I think Ballet Rambert needs shaking up; we attended as we had not been before and this is a famous company but unfortunately we were disappointed.

We were transported with delight at this mesmerising show and the magnificence of the dancers, choreography and music. Eternal Light left me speechless - how can one convey in words a moving, ephemeral and magical experience. Ballet at its sublime best. Congratulations to the entire company on making my birthday so wonderous and enthralling my 84 year old Mum - the energy was so infectious we both wanted to leap on stage.
Sorry, no more posts can be added.
