Edinburgh Festival Theatre. Absolutely stunning and very moving. This piece touched my soul. Amazing dance and live music - beautiful. Loved the other two pieces. I was blown away by the energy of the dancers. Fantastic! I've been a dedicated Rambert fan for over ten years and each time you reach new heights. You really are the best. Thank you.

183# Amazing!

By Becci Woods on Thu, 16 October 2008 at 04:51:24 PM

Well I saw Rambert in Theatre Clwyd Cymru earlier this year which was amazing and then with college went to see the more recent show at the Lowry. I thought it was amazing yet again! The second piece, Swansong was performerd in both shows I have seen and is my favourite. I think the choerography is brillient and the story line is really detailed. I am currently studing this piece at A level dance and I am really enjoying learning about it and analysing the movement. Can't wait to see the shows again! All the dancers are astonishing, and I hope that one day I will be just like them! Thanks all and congratulations on such an amazing performance!

177# Performance at The Lowry

By John Watt and Maurice George on Mon, 29 September 2008 at 04:18:36 AM

Dear Rambert people,

Just a word of thanks and appreciation for the Rambert event at The Lowry Thursday evening.

We were thrilled and inspired by each of the three works - Eternal Light, Swansong and Anatomica #3.

Your dancers are beyond praise - such pure skill, emotional commitment and physical presence.

It was especially delightful that there were scores of young people in the audience. They showed their unmistakeable pleasure and wonder - a
splendid augury for the future of dance.

Please pass our comments to the company.

I agree with Trebrys, Eternal Light was beautiful. I have never been so touched by a piece before. The musical score and the dance had me moved to tears in some parts. I think it really made the piece. In a world that is rapidly changing it is a very apt piece to hold on to our memories. I echo the congratulations to all

175# Last night

By Trebrys on Sat, 27 September 2008 at 12:19:07 PM

Was at my very first show ever last night and was blown away by it! Marvellous! A few stupid comments I felt were made by some people in the question and answer after he show - what was that man going on about by being distracted by the music???? The overall performance was stunning - and I got it with the toucan, that is, about the rainforest disappearing! It did work despite the woman feeling that she didn't get it!The Agnus Dei was simply beautiful! Please forgive me for not saying anything last night at the question and answer.....I was just completely blown over by it all! Congratulations to all involved!
