168# History of Contemporary Dance

By Gillian - Web Manager on Tue, 16 September 2008 at 06:12:31 AM

Hi A Level enthusiasts,

The best place to start is a library or the National Resource Centre for Dance.

There is a DVD available on our online shop called Different Steps, with interviews rehearsal footage with Christopher Bruce, Richard Alston and Robert North which may be of use.

Hope this helps.

165# The History of British Contemporary Dance

By A level enthusiasts on Thu, 4 September 2008 at 08:57:59 AM

Hey, we are struggling with an assignment given to us by our dance teacher.

We need to find the History of British Contemporary Dance between the periods of 1965-1985.

Can anyone tell us some significant information in regards to this?

Thanks!

A level enthusiasts
