The dancing was great but some of the pieces not very inspiring this time. I wasn't impressed with Gran Partita. L'eveil was interesting, and I loved the singer. I LOVED the Christopher Bruce piece - wonderful. Could you do more of his in forthcoming shows? Especially Ghost Dances. I saw it several years ago in Aberdeen and was moved to tears.I don't know why audiences don't get the chance to revisit dances just because you want to showcase new dances. There must be a way to see dances which an audience has really loved, just as in classical ballet people can go to see Swan Lake over and over again. I'm really frustrated about that! Also I saw an amazing dance set to one of Bob Dylan's songs a few years ago - maybe it was The Hurricane? One male dancer was on stage - I don't know if it was your company. I come to every performance you do in Aberdeen, and usually really love most of the performances. Thanks! Deborah Scott-Paul

Thanks for coming all the way to Aberdeen - even bringing the orchestra. I appreciate it. I agree very much with Deborah. I come, hoping to be transported and now and again it happens ... but not this time.
It was a pleasant evening and I particularly enjoyed the savage music in Swansong and the swinging lamp and the dancers reflected in the polished floor in Scribblings.
But yes, that programme with the Bob Dylan music (included Talking Mountain Bear Picnic Blues, Moonshine, Auction Block and perhaps it was Hurricane) was stunning - for a long term, card carrying Bob Dylan fan at least.
Please hurry back. (See if you can bring Lindsay Kemp).

I enjoyed the first three items on the programme. The singer on stage in L\'eviel was a wonderful addition to the dancing.
I enjoyed Gran Partita, the style of dancing and the music provided a really good contrast in the programme which displayed the bredth of talent amongst your dancers.
Swanson was emotionally very powerful.
I didn\'t enjoy Scribblings at all. Far too frenetic in movement and music as a last piece on the programme.
I too would love to see the Dylan piece again; one of the most memorable pieces of dance that I have ever seen.
Come back soon to Aberdeen.

I went to my 1st ballet about 45 years ago, have seen Fonteyn & Nureyev and we are now great friends of Susan Alexander, ballerina with the Royal Ballet some years ago. We are afficianados of the art. In my opinion, Rambert is the most exciting and accomplished dance company that I have had the pleasure to experience. Not every piece is perfect but, as an artist, I have never painted the perfect picture. One thing about the art of dance is that, unlike other arts, it cannot be faked. A Turner Prize for dance would be the real thing! Keep it up, keep pushing the borders, and keep coming to Aberdeen (always, of course,. bringing along our lovely Aberdonian super star).

I had not been to see Rambert for more years than I care to remember, I was very impressed with the performance and have vowed not to leave it so long before I go back. I really enjoyed the 3rd piece with the 3 guys dancing it was very powerful, my friend Helen and I had a completely different view of the story which is fascinating.
The last piece was perhaps disappointing more because of the music than the dance.
Will definitely be back
