already posted a comment but it never e appeared: will be shorter this time!
When we reviewed our last year, this was the highlight of all our going out!
Better than movies or books, Rambert's night came first! it's just a great reliable night out!
Thank you again

We have followed Ballet Rambert for many years and never seen them in better form. A wonderfully balanced programme and a memorable evening.

Norwich 15th October - third year I have seen Rambert in Norwich. It was brilliant as usual and unmissable. The third piece, Cardoon Club, was a wonderful entertainment full of high-paced action and also subtlety and fun - loved it!! So did my husband who attended under duress because my friend was ill. He is absolutely converted and will be attended all future Norwich events. Many thanks......

We thoroughly enjoyed the evening our first taste of contemporary dance, and loved the energy and expressions. Wonderful movement. I did not realise until I had read another posting that there was a mirrored floor. No mention of this, and for the In Touch dance I presume this would have been very effective. Also we selected the recommended "best seats" when booking online, but actually seats in the front few rows of the stalls were not good as the feet of the dancers could not be seen. I loved Awakenings - amazing how fluid it was and the interpretation was excellent. Overall a lovely evening.

Rambert Dance Co's usual high standard.Inspirational and educational in one. Always well worth spending money on a programme beforehand too as there was history to 'awakenings' which you should be aware of before watching the performance.

As usual the dancing was magnificent. It always fills me with joy to watch the skill demonstrated.
I like to sit close to the stage and I had a front seat. However,I had forgotten about the bar along the bottom of the stage which is presumably to protect the orchestra a little. Unfortunately this seemingly thin bar does prevent front row patrons from seeing the feet of the dancers which I find disappointing.

Always visit Norwich Theatre Royal when Rambert Dance Co. come, and this year was no different.
Certainly had a few reservations about the content of this set of dances: seemed somewhat repetative at times. When there are three sets to watch, it would be more stimulating for the audience to have more variation in both choreography of dance, pace and music.
That said, see them next year!

My first viewing of Rambert which I found different, interesting and entertaining but could maybe have been better if each dance sequence was maybe named or a little history before was explained (maybe this was and I missed it)

My first visit to Theatre Royal and disappointed with location, impersonnal interior and chilly atmosphere together with audience behind who continually kicked the back of my seat throughout first ballet. It has been almost 30 years since I last saw Ballet Rambert perform in my home town of Cambridge and I am unlikely to book a return performance. Although Awkenings can be applauded for its grace and fluid beauty, the second ballet was very repetative and lacked brillance, although I enjoyed the final piece I felt I had been watching the score of a west end musical. Considering price and location I would recommend Royal Ballet at Covent Garden.

An enchanting evening of dance and musical entertainment. This was the first experience of Rambert for my wife and I and we're only sorry we missed the dialogue prior to the performance because of work commitments.
We will definitely visit again!
Sorry, no more posts can be added.
