Hi Icy, I am copying an dpasting a reply I posted on our forum last year as it explains the situation. "Many of you have requested that we produce a DVD copy of Christopher Bruce's Ghost Dances. You may already know that the film we sold on our website was danced by The Houston Ballet and was available on VHS. Earlier this year we looked into buying more stock to sell on our website and we were told that it has been discontinued due to an expired license. Although Ghost Dances was choreographed for Rambert, we were not involved in the production of The Houston Ballet film so we are not in a position to renew the license. I believe there is also a copyright issue with the music so I doubt that a straight forward re-license would occur."
We recently discovered a short film on the BBC website which was filmed at Rambert's studios all about Ghost Dances:

Hello Rambert, I have been looking every where to buy 'Ghost Dance' on dvd. I saw it in T.V back in like 2001, I feel in love with it when I first saw it in College back in 1998. Its not for sale any where. How can I please get a copy.

The first cast at the Rambert premiere of Rooster were:
Sheron Wray, Marie-Laure Agrapart, Kate Coyne, Didy Veldman, Joanne Fong, Steven Brett, Simon Cooper, Rafael Bonachela, Glenn Wilkinson & Vincent Redmon
(8 December 1994 at Theatre Royal, Newcastle)

Hi Zeezee, do you mean the cast at the premiere of Rooster in 1991 or at Rambert's first performance of the piece (1994)?

The best thing to do would be look at our study notes on 'Rooster' available from the Rambert Shop for download or delivery. Click on the Shop link on the left hand side of this page. I hope that helps.
