Hello again.....

Here's another update on what's been going on in the Carnival of the Animals rehearsals.
As well as continuing the work that I talked about in the last entry, we‘ve also been looking at the intricate details of some of the musical instruments used as inspiration for a few of the sections in the piece.

Well, I'd firstly like to say how nice it has been working with Siobhan Davies (Sue) and also Sasha Roubicek (who's been assisting her). They've created a very relaxed, but productive atmosphere and are very aware of being in a dancer's position during the creation of a piece - which, as we know can sometimes be a long process, although very interesting and often very funny, especially when the subject matter is... ‘animals'.
