COTTWEILER at Rambert | London Fashion Week Men’s

Concept-led designers Ben Cottrell and Matthew Dainty, collectively known as COTTWEILER, presented their Spring Summer 19 collection at Rambert ahead of their collaboration with Rambert2 this Autumn.

Cottrell and Dainty held their show in a transformed Rambert studio, presenting a collection themed around New Age Cults, which was inspired by their recent travels around Asia and Australia. Read more about the show in Vogue and an interview with Cottrell and Dainty in Hero Magazine

With an expansive design vision and a focus on fabrication and fit, COTTWEILER creates new modes for contemporary living. They are stocked at some of the world’s most prestigious stores including Dover Street Market, Matches Fashion, Printemps and Galeries Lafayette.

COTTWEILER and Rambert2

COTTWEILER will design the costumes for the first new work created for Rambert2, choreographed by guest artistic director Benoit Swan Pouffer. Launching in November at Sadler’s Wells, Rambert2 is a pioneering new ensemble made up of 13 of the world’s best early career dancers.

'I have been inspired by COTTWEILER's depth of research to create a unique style and voice for today, and they are the ideal match for the incredible young dancers of Rambert2.

I believe the fusion of their work with mine will generate a new dance work that is truly original and contemporary.'
