1051# Seven For A Secret
By Rebecca T on Fri, 16 December 2011 at 09:29:22 AM
Hello, I am a BTEC Dance (Level 2) student and for my latest assignment, I have been asked to research, in detail, a production that's currently on tour. I would like to know:
1) Who is your costume designer?
2) Which transport company do you use?
3) How did you select your dancers for Seven For A Secret?
Thank you very much, my final deadline is in early January, so a reply before then would be greatly appreciated
-Rebecca

As with most of Christopher Bruce's works, Swansong is based on a number of inspirations and sources. As mentioned below, Bruce acknowledged there were two main inspiration points for this piece, one being his retirement from dancing, the other being aware of the work of Amnesty International and wanting to say something about political oppression. A lot more information about Swansong and its creation can be found in our study guides which are available to buy through our shop. I hope this helps.
