Thanks for your question. There are a variety of dance styles used in Swansong, often to create a particular effect. I would suggest buying the study notes on the work from the online Rambert shop - see menu on the left - which will give you more information on this and the wider context of the work.

Please can you tell me the style used for swansong? as i've searched everyhwere on the website(s) and it's not anywhere. it comes up with swan songs of other productions, annnyoing!

Christopher Bruce always wishes to leave interpretation of a work up to the spectator, but he mentions a variety of inspirations for Swansong one of which was the novel The Man by Oriana Fallaci, which looks at issues of torture and interrogation. I would suggest buying our Swansong study notes on the work from the online Rambert shop - see menu on the left - which will give you more information on this issue and the wider context of the work.

Merchandise orders are usually dispatched within 2 days of the order being placed. Items are sent by 2nd class post and need to be signed for upon arrival. With the current postal situation I cannot guarantee a delivery date but if you placed an order today it should be with you in plenty of time for your dance performance in two weeks.
