418# contemporary training?

Hello Rambertians! I was privileged to be a member or RDC 1996 -8 and am now a teacher (ballet) in Stockholm. I need to know from as many of you as possible (Mark, Christopher, staff and dancers) what sort of contemporary technique you would recommend for a new ballet-based state school that aims to train dancers at an elite level for the top ballet and modern dance companies in the world (eg RDC,ENB,NDT,Forsythe etc? Should it be Cunningham-based? Graham-based? Release-based? None of the above, something different, or all three? If all three, in which order should ballet-trained dancers learn them in? What are the current trends and where do they point in terms of appropriate training? I have my opinions, of course, but that was 10 years ago! Love to anyone that may remember me! Jo
PS. I am on Facebook and my email is jojewkes@yahoo.com. Thank you!!
