Virginia de Gersigny
Virginia was born in Caracas, Venezuela, and trained at the Royal Ballet School. She joined Birmingham Royal Ballet in 2001, where she was promoted to First Artist in 2003.
Whilst there she danced a number of featured roles, including in Balanchine's Apollo, Ashton's 5 Brahms Waltzes, and Bintley and Samsova's Giselle. Most recently she has performed as a soloist with Victor Ullate Ballet in Madrid.
Virginia joined Rambert in December 2007.
