Pieter Symonds
Born in Christchurch, New Zealand, Pieter trained at the New Zealand School of Dance. In 1997 she joined the Royal New Zealand Ballet where she was a Principal dancer, and had a piece created on her by choreographer Javier de Frutos, subsequently nominated for an Olivier Award.
Pieter joined Rambert in June 2004, where she has enjoyed the challenge of working with some of the world's most renowned choreographers and their varying styles.
