Malgorzata Dzierzon
Polish-born Malgorzata attended the National Ballet School in Bytom. She joined Malaika Kusumi in Frankfurt am Main and went on to dance with Royal Danish Ballet, performing classical repertoire as well as works by Balanchine, Neumeier and Bejart.
She worked with Peter Schaufuss Ballet and Singapore Dance Theatre, before joining Gothenburg Ballet where she performed works by Javier De Frutos, Nacho Duato, Nicolo Fonte, Itzik Galili and Meryl Tankard. Since joining Rambert in 2006 she has created roles in works by Karole Armitage, Garry Stewart, Siobhan Davies and Doug Varone, amongst others.
In the UK Malgorzata has performed with Wayne McGregor/Random Dance at the Brighton Festival and alongside the Ballet Boyz in Christopher Wheeldon’s Mesmerics. She has choreographed for the Gothenburg Ballet and Rambert’s workshops, and is a member of New Movement Collective.
She received nominations at the Critics’ Circle National Dance Awards for Spotlight Female Artist (Modern) in 2008, and Outstanding Female Dancer (Modern) in 2009.
