Elizel Long
Born in South Africa, Elizel trained with the Fernies Dancing Academy under Marlene Rubidge in the Cecchetti technique from the age of three. She later trained with Candice Johnston and travelled to New York, to be part of Kate Whoriskey’s production of Camille under the dance directorship of Warren Adams. In 2006, Elizel was awarded the Linbury Scholarship to attend the Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance where she graduated with a first class BA (Hons) degree. In 2009, she was chosen to dance Itzik Galili’s A Linha Curva with Rambert, and subsequently joined the Company as an apprentice dancer.
