Sign Language-interpreted performances are now firmly established as an integral part of every Rambert tour. If you have attended one of our Sign Language-interpreted performances we would love to hear what you think - email us at marketing@rambert.org.uk.
Our new interpreter for autumn 2011, Angie Newman (right), is committed to making music more accessible to the Deaf. In 2005 she was the first interpreter to work with the London Symphony Orchestra's education department. She then went on to establish Sign Language-interpreted concerts with both the London Philharmonic Orchestra and the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment in their education and community programmes. Angie interpreted a dance piece for Sadler's Wells' creative learning department which was also highly successful. She has sustained her involvement with the charity ‘Music and the Deaf', which helps people access music and the performing arts, by assisting with their South East Deaf Youth Orchestra initiative.
Please check with each venue for recommended seating areas.

Information for visitors to Rambert's headquarters in Chiswick: Rambert is currently housed in two converted houses in Chiswick. Level access is only available to our ground floor studio and WC. Access to studios and offices on upper storeys are via stairs that are narrow and uneven. Key to the design of our new home is the accessibility to all parts of the building - studios, changing rooms, offices - to all users, whether visitors or members of staff.
