Nancy Nerantzi

Born: Athens, Greece

Trained: Greek National Opera Dance School and London Contemporary Dance School.

Joined: Rambert in 2017 after six years with Richard Alston Dance Company.

Career highlights: Nancy has worked for Greek National Opera House, NDCWales, Ballet Junior de Genève, Hellenic Dance Company and Aenaon Chorotheatro Daniel Lommel. In 2011 she joined Richard Alston Dance Company where she performed works by Richard Alston and Martin Lawrance. She has also performed works by Nigel Charnock, Robert Cohan, Alexander Ekman, Andonis Foniadakis, Itzik Galili, Thierry Malandain and Joseph Toonga among others. In 2013 she worked with Jeannie Steele on a staging of Merce Cunningham repertoire for the Dancing Around Duchamp exhibition at the Barbican.

Other info: Nancy was nominated for the 2015 Critic’s Circle National Dance Awards for Outstanding Modern Performance (female) for her leading role in Burning by Martin Lawrance.
